Some days I get side-tracked by my camera. Her cold hard surface grasped by my fingers, curling around her curves, feeling her heart beat as I set the shutter in motion and uncoil film that has never seen light. Looking through her lens the world is warm and out of focus. One eye clamped shut, the other framing only what I want to see; I shut out what is not picturesque and miss all too much.
